Solair is deeply committed to community involvement. Over the years we have done many donation drives for TEEG, a remarkable local social services agency serving families in northeast Connecticut. As we bid farewell to another summer, we’re launching our annual Fall Clothing and Holiday Toy Drives, geared towards benefiting families in our vicinity.
For those planning to spend the off-season elsewhere, consider starting your shopping early. Conveniently located upstairs in the community center, our donation box can be found in the hallway leading to the restroom. Once you’ve done your bit for the community, take a moment to unwind in our hot tub. For those with tight schedules, we welcome cash donations. Simply reach out to the office, and Deb (Brian) or her team will happily shop on your behalf.
October: PJ’s with a Purpose We’re calling for donations of brand new pajamas, socks, and underwear.
November: Warm the World Coat Drive Solair is setting the bar high this year with an ambitious goal of donating 500 coats. To make this dream a reality, we urge every member, associate, and even our well-meaning visitors to think about contributing a new coat, or even several.
December: Holiday Toy Drive
Spread some holiday cheer by donating new, unwrapped toys.
